HOMANNSBERGET CAMPING  post@homannsberget.no Our site in the campingguide is a 3-star camping ground suitable for families, in a picturesque location at the Drammen Fjord, 1 km south of the city of Svelvik.   We have 200 tent- and caravan sites, all with electrical contacts.   Approximately 140 of these sites are available to holdiday campers. Each caravan site measures ca. 100 sq. meters.   We also have an area with smaller, more inexpensive sites for small campers and tents. Both site groups are situated near the fjord, with sandy beaches and playgrounds in the area.   There are 17 cabins of varying size, capacity and price. Click on the "Cabins" icon on the top of this page for more details.   We also offer the following features:   Our own small shop, as well as an outdoor café with beer and wine on the premises.   Only 500 meters to a large grocery store, while it is only a 15-minutes walk to a variety of stores and shops in the city of Svelvik.   10-minutes by car to the Fossekleiva Crafts Centre.   Hiking opportunities in an excellent forested terrian with marked hinking trails.   Sea-fishing is available in the fjord, from your own boat or a rental boat. There are also many fine spots to go fishing from the shore in the vicinity, including Batteriøya (Battery Island, in Svelvik); the wharf by Svelvik Church; the Svelvik ferry pier; and the Berger wharf.   Wireless Internet   Homannsberget Camping is one of  the best departure point for day-trips to sightseeing destinations in South-Eastern Norway
